On the Road: Victoria to ???

A ferry ride and short drive to Abbotsford for dinner with my parents was the prelude to a 5:30 am start. Mount Cheam in Chilliwack looked as though it was wearing a halo.

A stop for gas in Kamloops was followed by another at the Yard Creek Provincial Park near Malakwa, where we walked and ate a picnic lunch. No bugs! 

On to Revelstoke, Golden, and Lake Louise. No sightseeing today - we’ve visited these places before and are headed east as fast as comfortable. 

A hour long slow traffic crawl due to paving just west of Banff made us rethink getting to Calgary. We found a cute municipal campground, with the help of iOverlander, in Exshaw and settled there for the night. 

Tomorrow night we plan to be in Moose Jaw, SK.
